EOS Costa Rica: Business continuity
Our plan amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Dear clients and EOS community,
It is no secret that the COVID-19 outbreak represents a challenging moment for many for us. We live in a connected world, and practically any decision may end up having a butterfly effect on the global economy and society.
EOS Costa Rica has pledged to continue serving our customers with the same high-quality standards that have always characterized our company and team. We value each one of our clients and are committed to having uninterrupted communication with all of them.
Please take into consideration these are the measures we are currently seeking to mitigate the outbreak on our front:
- WFH: We embraced digital technologies long ago and have proven they work for us as a distributed team. As of now, the team of EOS Costa Rica is working 100% remotely. This should not represent a difference from a regular workday and our clients or partners may be able to reach out anytime. Additionally, we suspended our weekly meetings at the office until further notice.
- Flattening the curve: This moment is critical to slow down the spread and make sure there will be enough capacity in health centers. Therefore, we asked our team to take measures and help mitigate this spread, such as avoiding international travel and crowded places. We are aware that these are not only on behalf of our colleagues but also a necessary effort to protect loved ones and vulnerable people.
- Safety: We have established specific protocols in case one of our colleagues is having symptoms. Also, we share relevant information supported by official organizations fighting against this pandemic. Being informed is crucial during times like this.
- Emotional support: We know that media coverage of the COVID-19 may become overwhelming and induce anxiety on our peers. Therefore, we encourage an environment of constant communication among our colleagues and let them know that we are there for them.
These measures are part of our contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak. We believe that each one of us has the power to make a difference. Stay home. Take care of your people. Hope for the best!
